The Global 4-H Network Summit is Coming to Canada in 2017!

The Global 4-H Network Summit is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for youth, volunteers and professionals to share best practices in positive youth development, network and celebrate the successes of the 4-H movement!

From July 11-14, 2017, 4-H Canada will host representatives from provincial and global 4-H programs in Ottawa. With inspiring keynotes, interactive workshops and a Global 4-H Opportunities Expo, featuring volunteer, career and partnership tools, this event is designed to equip delegates to spark change and advance 4-H in their communities!  

Quick Facts

·        4-H exists in over 70 countries around the world with approximately 7 million members

·         A unique event where 4-H youth, volunteers and professionals from around the world come together to share, network and celebrate 4-H!

·        This is the 1st time Canada has hosted the Summit and only the 2nd Summit to be held. The first Global 4-H Network Summit was in 2014 in Korea.

·        4-H Canada CEO, Shannon Benner currently serves as Chair of the Global 4-H Network Board.

·        2017 marks Canada’s 150th birthday as a country! What better place to celebrate than our nation’s capital?!

Sign-up to volunteer at the Global 4-H Network Summit and you will play an important role making this event happen, while also meeting global delegates! You will also be able to participate in daily workshops when you’re not working.

Cost: FREE! Includes a t-shirt, volunteer training and handbook, access to the volunteer lounge, and Summit programming when not working.
